Harris wrote the book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" back in 1997. He was a pastor of Covenant Life Church for 11 years.
Recently Harris kissed his marriage goodbye. But he also kissed his courtship principles goodbye.

So what do you think?
It's a terrible shame, for sure, but I really wonder what caused his fall.
Was he never a Christian to begin with? Scripture tells us that "they went out from us but they were not of us, for if they were of us, they would have remained with us." - 1 John 2:19
The real question is 'how does this affect me and Christ's Kingdom?' It seems so many big-name Christians immediately become Satan's primary targets, and if he can bring them down, then he will have tremendous victory. What does this say for us? Are we ourselves a target for Satan? If not, why not?
We SHOULD be targets! We SHOULD be actively attacking the gates of Hell! We SHOULD be Christians that Satan finds tremendously annoying.
We have been given a commission and a purpose. We mustn't squander our gifts and talents on ourselves, but working hard for the Kingdom.
2 people die every second. The vast majority of them are going to Hell. Our job is to 'snatch the brands from the fire' before they are consumed.
